The Acute Care & Monitoring Operating Unit is committed to excellence in innovation and commercialization to pursue our vision and long-term business growth. The ACM OU organization is refining its product delivery, innovation, and commercialization approach to enable product leadership across all segments of our product portfolio. This will require enhancing our innovation processes, refining our design and delivery approaches to deliver an integrated and comprehensive portfolio that enables product development excellence across ACM.

The Program Manager/Core Team Operations Representative (CTOR) is the primary ACM OU Operations interface for OEM and Distribution Deals, working with the Core team. This is a highly visible and impactful role in the operations network and for the Acute Care Monitoring business. The CTOR will lead a cross functional team and is responsible for, planning, execution, and implementation of new OEM and Distribution Deals.

A Day in The Life Of:
- Autonomy: The PD Program Manager in the CTOR role is responsible for small to medium scale programs. A successful candidate will need to bring clarityclear communication, refine plans, and drive team execution through ambiguously defined situations. Guidance from peers and stakeholders is readily available.
- Organizational Impact: The candidate will own and ensure overall Operations project execution with respect to schedule, budget, resource allocation, risk management, issue resolution and compliance to internal quality process requirements. Results are accomplished by leading Extended Operations functions that may include Demand/ Supply Planning, Technical Sourcing, Supplier quality, Process Development, Global Manufacturing – MDT & CM, OEM suppliers, Packaging & Labelling, Sterilization, Service & Repair, Sustainability, Global Supply Chain, and Distribution functions.
- Influence and Complexity: A successful candidate will be able to 1) apply best practices and lead meetings with internal/external stakeholders, 2) Communicate effectively to higher level management, 3) Solve issues through information exchange and influence, and 4) Gain cooperation of other functions on program objectives and plan execution.
- Flexibility: A successful candidate will need to work with international teams so work schedule flexibility is possible as long as all project needs are met. Travel is required for this role and is usually planned in advance to meet project needs with up to 25% domestic/international travel.
- The preferred location for this position is Galway, Ireland, with travel up to 25%
PROGRAM MANAGEMENT AND TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the Extended Operations Team to ensure on-time and on-schedule delivery of OEM & Distribution Deal launches.
- Provide Voice of Operations during project scoping.
- Support project planning, phase gate reviews, and execution of Operations project deliverables.
- Support Configuration/ Inventory Management
- Communicate operations specific labelling requirements to OEMs (specifically for distribution control)
- Review final labels with labelling SME
- Support/ lead (as required) Global Item Changes (GIC’s) and drive to completion.
- Support Global Network Enablement GNE
- Supporting Supplier quality Engineering (SQE) with PPAP as needed
- Issue and Risk Management
- Work with Distribution Centres such as Heerlen VAS (Value Added Service)
COMMUNICATIONS & INFLUENCE RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ability to lead and Influence between Extended Operations Team and Core Team
- Effective written and spoken communicator
- Coach and develop extended Operations members, to help individuals advance their skills and careers. Provide performance feedback.

Key Skills & Experience
- L8 Bachelors degree required with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced degree in an Engineering discipline or Masters in Business Administration advantageous
- Experience in managing and launching new Medical Device Products and therapies
- Medical device product development experience and a strong understanding of FDA, ICH and IEC standards
- Experience across the entire product lifecycle
- DRM, DFSS or Six Sigma Green Belt Certified
- Experience with manufacturing process development & validation. Including IQ, OQ, PQ, Measurement System Analysis, DOE, PFMEA, Control Planning.
- Experience working with Value Stream Mapping and Capacity Planning.
- Statistics & data analysis and sample size requirements.
